- Can I come to Rage if I am not 18? You can but remember that you will not be allowed in to any venues where alcohol is sold.
- How do I get around if I don’t have a car? Most of the accommodation venues are within walking distance to the beaches and shops. Should you wish to do a day trip – there are taxi companies available. We realize that the biggest concern for all is the evening transport– we do not want Student to “drink and drive” There will be approved transport available throught Rage.
- What should I bring? The most important is your ID book or Drivers License (certyified colour copy). Without this you won’t be able to access any Bar or Club. Then make sure that you have plenty of sunscreen, bath and beach towels, your own pillow (if you prefer), suitable outfits for evenings at VIP and lots and lots of ENERGY!!!
- What happens if I loose my ID? Firstly, before you come down, make two colour copies of you ID. Have these certified at the police station. Leave one copy with your folks and bring the other one with you to Plett. Keep your ID in a safe place carry the copy with you. Should you loose your ID, You will have a copy here as well as the original and copy back home.
- Are the accommodation venues safe? There will be 24hr Security posted at all venues, including Student monitors that will report any suspicious behavior to the necessary people. Be sure not to leave valuables lying about…..this is asking for trouble. Find out about a safe at your accommodation venue or ask about leaving valuables at reception
- What about the weather? November/December is great weather in Plett but anything can happen. Come rain or sunshine…RAGE WILL GO ON!!!!
- What kind of accommodation is offered in the packages? The accommodation varies from rustic backpacker style accommodation to up - market resort style units and hotel rooms. Bedding is provided (You can also bring your own); however the configuration of beds can not be guaranteed. For example, a unit with an occupancy for 4 may have 2-double beds or a Single beds with a sleeper couch or any other configuration that is deemed acceptable by the establishment.
- What happens if I loose my ID bracelet? This will be rather difficult, but things happen….you will have to get another one from the Organizers. You will have to produce your ID and registration information. If the bracelet is damaged, it will be replaced, if lost it will be replaced at an additional cost.
- Where/who to contact in case of a medical emergency? Make sure that students have necessary medical aid information in case of an illness/accident.
